Hike Cabot Mountain Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 @ 10 AM This short out-and-back moderately difficult hike in the Pepacton Range leads to a nice view of Little Pond.
Trail Maintenance on Dry Brook Ridge Trail Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 @ 10 AM Join us on our Autumn Trail Maintenance Hike on Dry Brook Ridge. We’ll hike Pakatakan Mountain and follow the ridge, passing by a 700 years old bog, to arrive to a beautiful lookout of the Pepacton Reservoir from almost 3500 ft. of altitude.
Hike Mt Tremper Fire Tower Sunday, October 3rd @ 9 AM A moderate to difficult hike will take us to the top of Mt Tremper where we can climb its fire tower for some beautiful 360 degree views. Perfect for viewing fall foliage.
Hike the Headwaters Trail Monday, October 4th, 2021 @ 10 AM We will walk the Headwaters Trail up to the top of Bald Mountain where we will have a 270 degrees view of the Catskills. This is the site of a former ski area.
Loop de Loop Beginner Hike Wednesday, October 6, 2021 @1 PM This woodland hike offers a 2.2-mile loop around scenic Frick Pond that is suitable for beginners who are comfortable walking this distance. Winding through the hemlocks, with views across the pond, there may be sightings of mushrooms, great blue heron, and other woodland wonders.
Hike Slide Mountain Friday, October 8th, 2021 @ 9:30 AM The Catskills highest summit at 4284′ is a moderately difficult hike with some great views along the route.
Hike Black Dome and Thomas Cole Mountains Saturday, October 9th, 2021 @ 8:30 AM Just off the Escarpment with great climbs, scrambles and fabulous views.
Indigenous Peoples Day Hike Sunday, October 10th, 2021 @ 10 AM As an alternative to Columbus Day join us to celebrate and honor the first people to inhabit the Catskills by visiting several Manitou Hassennech (spirit stones) sites in the Woodstock area.
