Forest Bathing Walk
October 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
|All interested participants will meet at the Catskills Visitor Center at 10 am. Matthew will lead you on a relaxing and educational walk around the visitor center campus. Some of the things you will be learning are plant and fungi identification, wild food foraging, and the medicinal benefits of forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku in Japanese). You will also be led on a series of mindfulness exercises intended to connect you with your Eco-Self. This will be a Nature immersion experience you won’t soon forget. Matthew has been leading guided experiences in the Catskills for over 5 years and teaching Yoga for 12 years. All you need to bring is a water bottle and a willingness to learn.
