Loop de Loop Hike at Frick Pond
October 4 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Leave work early and join me for a sweet 2.2-mile Loop de Loop Hike in Mongaup Pond State Park. The woodland trail around scenic Frick Pond is suitable for beginner hikers comfortable walking this distance. Reflections of changing colors in the pond and the quiet beauty of the hemlock grotto leave lasting impressions. The trail has very little elevation change but there are a few muddy spots, rocky bits, and tree roots along the way so waterproof hiking shoes or boots are recommended. We love using hiking poles and will bring a few extra pairs. Let me know if you would like to try them!
