Join CMC President, Rick Roberts on a hike to Split Rock along the FLT section comprising the Mary Smith and Pelnor Hollow Trails. This hike is relatively easy with only one steep section as we near the Split Rock overlook. The hike will start at the Mary Smith trailhead on Holiday/Berry Brook Rd.

Event Duration:  4.5 miles – approximately 3 hours

Level of Difficulty:  Moderate

Driving Directions:

From Margaretville- From Margaretville- West on NYS Rte 28 to NYS Rte 30 West.  After crossing the Bridge over the Pepaction Reservoir turn and follow Rte. 30 to Holiday/Berry Brook Rd. on the left  Follow Holiday/Berry Brook Rd. approx 2.5 miles to the very apex of the road. Parking lot on left, trail head on the  right.

From Livingston Manor- Follow Beaverkill Rd. (Co. Rd. 151) to Campsite rd. on left. Campsite Rd. to Berry Brook Rd.. Berry Brook Rd. approx 3.5 to the very top of the road. Parking lot on right trail head on left
