Hike to the Rock Rift Fire tower. This 9 mile hike covers a new section of the FLT constructed in 2014. The Pines Fire Tower is the last remaining Catskill Fire Tower, built in 1934, on public land that has yet to be restored. It is located in the Town of Tompkins, Delaware County overlooking the Cannonsville Reservoir. The tower itself cannot be climbed at this time.
