Paddle the Pepacton | Sunday October 11th, 10:30 am **2015**

Join Ann Roberti of the CMC as we celebrate the start of the annual Lark in the Park extravaganza of outdoor events with a paddle on the scenic Pepacton Reservoir.

Provide your own CANOE or KAYAK or rent from a local business. We will launch promptly at 11 AM from the Shavertown Bridge Recreational Boating Launch site on the north side of the bridge.

On previous Lark paddles we’ve seen bald eagles, a beaver swam among our boats and a bear was spotted swimming across the reservoir. If you have not paddled the Pepacton, don’t miss this event.

Event Duration: 3-4 hours

Level of Difficulty: Easy-Moderate, Moderate, Moderate-Difficult, Difficult — Bushwhack

Bring: Life jacket, drinks, lunch, sunscreen

Group size is limited so register early.

Fee: No. If you need to have your boat steam cleaned local vendors charge $15-$20 for cleaning.

Driving Directions:

From SR 28/30 in Margaretville, go west about 3 miles to the dividing of the highways. Turn south onto SR 30 and go 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge Boat Launch on the left, just after turning right onto CR 1.

From SR 28 in Andes, turn south onto CR 1 and travel 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge Boat Launch on the right.
