— This Event is Full, Registration is closed —

Join us for a special mushroom walk on the Rochester Hollow Trail in Big Indian (NY/NJ Trail Conference map #142, I-5).

Learn to identify mushrooms, their functions and uses with mycologist John Michelotti, founder of Catskill Fungi in Big Indian, NY.

The Rochester Hollow Trail follows a stream through a beautiful forest to the site of an abandoned estate. This is a moderate hike with a gradual climb up the hollow.

Register early since this walk will fill up quickly. Steady rain cancels.

No dogs, please.

Directions: Drive to Matyas Road on the north side of Rt. 28 east of Pine Hill and west of the Peekamoose restaurant in Big Indian.  The parking area is ¼ mile in on the road.
