Huggins Lake Southwest Ridge First Growth Forest Mapping | Monday, October 5, 9:30 AM **2015**

This is a continuation of the first growth forest mapping in the Huggins Lake area begun October of 2013. This year we will explore the ridge southeast of Huggins Lake, as the northern ridges have already been mapped.

Event Duration:  6 miles, Approx 7 hours

Level of Difficulty: Moderate-Difficult with Bushwhack

Bring: lunch, sunscreen, bug spray, something to drink, etc.

Group size is limited so register early.

Driving Directions: From Pepacton Reservoir – From Sate Rt. 30, turn South up on Holiday Brook Road, continue down over the pass (Holiday Brook Road turns into Berry Brook Road), turn left onto Huggins Lake trail-head parking area at 4.7 miles from Rt 30.
From Roscoe – State Route 206 north 2.6 miles to Beaverkill Road. Take Beaverkill Road 1.9 miles east to Berry Brook Road. Travel 4 miles north on Berry Brook Road to Hggins Lake trail-head parking area.
