Reservoir Cleanup Day at the Pepacton Reservoir | Sunday, October 2, 12:00-3:00 PM **2016**

dep_logoJoin Ann Roberti, the Catskill Mountain Club and the NYC DEP for a litter pickup on the Pepacton Reservoir. We will be picking up litter from the roadway to the reservoir shore. Community Service Certificates will be distributed at the event for those that need to earn the credits. Garbage bags, will be supplied. Limited pickers and gloves will be available; feel free to bring your own.  This event is rain or shine, so dress accordingly.

Event Duration:   Approx 3 hours

Level of Difficulty:  Easy

Bring: sunscreen, bug spray, something to drink, gloves, if you have them.

Registration Required:  No, but it would be preferred.  Register here with the DEP

Driving Directions:

We will be meeting at the Shavertown Boat Launch.  From State Route 28 in Margaretville turn left on State Route 30. Continue 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge. Turn right and park at the upper parking area by the boat launch.

From Livingston Manor, take the Beaverkill Road, to Barkaboon Road pass Little Pond continue to the Shavertown Bridge turn right across bridge and left to the upper parking area by boat launch. Distant 20 miles.
