Join Catskill 4000 Club members Joan Burroughs and Paul Misko on a hike in Woodland Valley. Along the way to some sites noted in “The Heart of the Southern Catskills”, you will hear about John Burroughs and his first ascent of Slide Mountain, which took place in 1885 by way of this route. This hike includes some bushwhack, and rocky/slippery sections. You must receive confirmation of registration. Exact meeting location and more details will be sent to participants upon registration

Level of Difficulty: Moderate-Difficult and some bushwhacking
Bring: lunch, jacket, hat, flashlight, lighter.
