Join us for a hike up Giant Ledge, which has the best views for the effort required. As we hike up, you’ll get a serving of local history and some fun stories. We’ll linger on the ledge as we enjoy our lunches and then finally descend to our cars.

Bring: Lunch/ snacks, water/ beverage, sun/ insect protection, proper clothing and hiking shoes, flashlight, hat, and lighter.

Driving Directions: To reach the Giant Ledge Parking Area, take State Route 28 to Big Indian and turn south on Ulster County Route 47. Take Route 47 7.3 miles to the sign for parking area on right (at the hairpin turn).
