Leave No Trace Hike to Giant Ledge
October 13, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join a Trail Conference Trail Steward for moderate, 2.9-mile out-and-back hike to Giant Ledge, which offers many spectacular views.
During the hike, Trail Stewards will discuss Leave No Trace Principles as well as what it means to be a trail steward. The hike will begin at the Giant Ledge trail-head where we will start the moderately difficult climb up the viewpoint. While enjoying a snack at the viewpoint, you will be looking out over Woodland Valley, the Burroughs Range, and the range of peaks that encompass the Devil’s Path Range. The changing fall foliage and the breathtaking view will make you thankful that you came!
