We will start across the road from the DEC Offices,  the road west of the ball field.  See below for directions.  We will walk the Headwaters Trails up to the top of Bald Mountain where we will have a 270 degrees view of the Catskills. The trails are on an old ski area and some will be steep. We will walk down the other side of Bald Mountain and around the base and back to the Parking Lot.

Covid-19 Guidelines:  Due to the rise in delta variant cases locally and nationally we have revived these simple protocols for participation in our in-person events. Wear a mask while congregated in the parking lot or at other sites.  Follow social distancing protocols.  Use your own pen when signing in, or use hand sanitizer. Other guidelines may apply, depending on event. The event leader will inform participants.

Driving Directions:  In Stamford, NY,   We will park across the road from the DEC Offices, 65561 State Highway 10, Stamford, NY 12167, the driveway west of the ball field.  The offices are located just North East of Stamford on Route 10.  From Windham, NY take Rt 23 West to Rt 10, turn right at the light, 26 miles. From Oneonta take Rt. 23 east to Rt 10 and turn left at the light. From Margaretville NY take Rt 30 north to Rt 23 and turn left to Stamford and turn right at the light onto Rt 10. The DEC Office is a little out of town.
