Bike on the Back River Road (BWS Rts 8,9,10) along the Pepacton Reservoir from the Shavertown Bridge to Fair Street, Margaretville and then to the Old Stone Schoolhouse and back. Meet at the eastern parking area on the north side of the bridge.

The course is a rolling blacktop road with low traffic. Suitable for road or hybrid bikes. Helmets required. Water recommended.

Duration:  25 miles, 2 hours

Level of difficulty: Easy-Moderate

Participants should bring: Helmet, bicycle, comfortable clothing, water

Directions:   From SR 28/30 in Margaretville, go west about 3 miles to the dividing of the highways. Turn south onto SR 30 and go 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge. The parking area is on your left just before the bridge.

From SR 28 in Andes, turn south onto CR 1 and travel 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge.

After you press “Submit” below the registration form, you will see a screen that says “Your registration has been submitted”. If you do not, an error has occurred. Please resubmit, being sure to complete all fields. You should receive a message from the leader acknowledging your registration.
