Hike to North Point with Painting & Drawing
October 6 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
This is a moderate-difficult hike but it’s rewarding. This outing to North Point is approximately 5 miles round trip with plenty of elevation gain. Starting from the Scutt Road parking lot, we’ll follow the Rock Shelter and Mary’s Glen Trail to a high vantage point of North-South Lake with colorful hues .
Dog are permitted but only dogs who are also experienced hikers. There will be moments where you may need to help your pup over a scramble or two.
Artist are encouraged, as we will set aside two hours for painting, drawing, and eating. I am a trained artist so those looking for instruction are welcomed to attend. It doesn’t matter how good you are but that you tried your best. Depending on energy levels we can detour on the way down to view the waterfall in Mary’s Glen.
