From Beech Hill Road Trail Head on the East Side of the road we will follow a section to the Finger Lakes Trail to Cabot Mountain Over Look of Little Pond, about 3 miles. It is a little steep to start with, but levels off along the top.

From Margaretville, NY, Rt 30 towards Downsville, 10.7 miles turn left onto Beech Hill Rd for 3.8 miles, the Parking Area is on the left a little way over the top of the mountain. From Livingston Manor, take old route 17 west and a slight right onto Beaverkill Rd for 8.8 miles, turn left onto Beech Hill Rd. for 2.6 miles, P.A. is on the right.
