DESCRIPTION:We could have also called this free program ‘Topo Map Reading for Beginners!’\nIt will be held at Morgan Outdoors in Hurleyville\, NY. Participants will learn the basic elements of a topographic map is and how useful they are when planning a hike. Come sit around the map table and we’ll teach you the basics. Past participants have remarked that this old-school skill is not only fun but super useful when our electronics fail. One lucky registrant will win a topographic map to take home! \nEvent Duration: 1 hour \nLevel of Difficulty:  Easy \nLeader: Lisa Lyons \nBring: Reading glasses\, if needed. \nRegistration required by October 8.
