SUMMARY:Overnight Camp at Rider Hollow
DESCRIPTION:   Come on a short hike and overnight Camping at Rider Hollow Lean-to and campsite with New York State Licensed Guide Moe Lemire. Campers will meet at the Pine Hill Community Center at 6:30 pm. Then we will carpool to Rider Hollow parking area where we will walk into the Lean-To and campsites and set up camp. This area is based on a first-come\, first-served basis. While a Monday night is not generally a busy camping evening there may be space for 4 folks to sleep directly in the lean- to and space for 6 tents at designated sites. The leader will provide a water filter for water filtration. \nDuration:  0.6 miles\, 14 hours \nLevel of difficulty:  Moderate \nParticipants should bring:  Sturdy boots or trail runners\, tent or hammock\, sleeping bag\, sleeping pad\, cooking stove\, food\, warm clothing \nHike maximum group size: 12 \nRegister by:  September 30 \nDogs allowed: No \nSuggested list of items: \n* Tent or Hammock\n* Sturdy shoes\n* Trekking poles\n* Backpack\n* Headlamp\n* Sleeping Bag\n* 2-3 liters of water recommended\n* Water bottles/bladder\n* Food and snacks\n* Sleeping pad or blow up mattress\n* Medications\nFinally anything you need to be comfortable to sleep in the woods. \nQuestions about this event can be directed to:   Moe Lemire at (845) 254-5469  or mlemire@pinehillcommunitycenter.org   \nDirections:  From SR 28\, look for the village welcoming sign and take Main St. into Pine Hill.
