SUMMARY:Nature Sketching
DESCRIPTION:      Sketching can be a great way to get in touch with nature. Join Catskills Visitor Center staff member Kelli for an introduction to the basic practice of nature sketching. Take part in a short\, guided activity before striking out on your own on the Visitor Center’s property and trails to draw\, doodle\, paint\, or sketch. Whether you haven’t drawn since you were a kid or you’re a photo-realism expert\, come experience the camaraderie of taking some time to enjoy art and nature with like-minded folks. \nThe program is open to people of all ages and all artistic/writing experience. Beginners welcome! The Visitor Center building and loop trail are accessible. \nEvent Duration:  1.5 hours \nLevel of Difficulty:  Easy \nLeader(s):  Kelli Huggins\n \nBring:   Supplies will be provided\, but participants are welcome to bring their own favorite drawing or painting materials \nRegistration required by October 4th.  Use registration form below to register. \nPLEASE contact the leader and cancel if you are not able to come as others may want to take your place. \nGroup size is limited to 20 so register early. \nFee:  No \nDogs allowed:  No \nQuestions about this event can be directed to:  khuggins@catskillcenter.org. or call (845) 688-3369 \nDriving Directions:    The Catskills Visitor Center is located at 5096 NY 28\, Mt. If you do not\, an error has occurred. Please resubmit\, being sure to complete all fields. You should receive a message from the leader acknowledging your registration. \n\n
