SUMMARY:Mushroom I.D. Hike to Red Hill Fire Tower
DESCRIPTION:We will be hiking to Red Hill Fire Tower from the Denning Road Trail Head. This trail is a moderate elevation gain with one rock scramble near the top. On our way to the fire tower we will stop and try to I.D. mushrooms and other fauna along the trail. Plan to pack a lunch\, there are picnic tables at the top. Hikers will be able to climb the tower and enter the cabin as well. This is a moderate hike\, and we’ll be going at a leisurely pace to be able to stop and find mushrooms and plants along the trail. \nEvent Duration: 4 miles\, 4 hours \nLevel of Difficulty:  Moderate \nLeader: Sammi Delaney \nBring: Lunch/ snacks\, water/ drink\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, proper clothing\, rain gear. \nRegistration required by 10/5. Co. Hwy 157) to the stop sign near Claryville. Turn left onto Denning Road and proceed 2.8 miles and the sign at the trailhead parking will be on your right. \nFrom State Route 55 just west of Grahamsville\, take the Claryville Road (Sul. Co.
