Mountain Bike at Bluestone WF & Jockey Hill

The Fats in the Cats Bicycle Club will host an intermediate Mountain Bike Ride at Jockey Hill/Bluestone Wild Forest, 10:00 AM on October 12th. Parking at the DEC Lot on Woods Road. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and get prepared to ride. Please make sure to bring a mountain bike in working condition, water, and a helmet. Helmets are required for the ride. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone joining should have some experience mountain biking and in physical shape able to ride 5-10 miles of flowy single track trails. Ride leaders will regroup at all intersections.

Group size is limited to 15.
Dogs allowed: No.
Additional Information: Email the coordinator (Samantha Langton) if you are interested in being a ride leader or sweep. We may be able to split up into different level groups if we have enough leaders.

Driving Directions: Meet at Jockey Hill-Wintergreen Ridge Trail Parking Area on Jockey Hill Road: Take Route 209 to the Sawkill Road Exit and go toward Woodstock. Take Sawkill Road 1.5 miles from 209 and just past the Town of Kingston offices (on the right) turn left onto Hill Road. Proceed one mile and turn left onto Jockey Hill Road. Take Jockey Hill Road and continue straight onto unpaved Old Dump Woods Road. Stay on the Woods Road to a small 5-car trailhead parking lot with a gate over the road.
