We will meet at Russel Brook Falls Parking area, We will walk up to Trout Pond Lean-to and from there we will walk over to Mud Pond and explore there. From there we will go back to Russel Brook Falls and enjoy them. The overall ascent of the hike is 900 feet and the descent is 960 feet. This will be a very enjoyable fall walk.

Bring: Lunch/ snacks, water/ drink, sunscreen, insect repellent, sturdy hiking shoes, rain gear, and extra layers.

Driving Directions:

From Stewart Ave. Roscoe (traffic light) take Route 206 north 2.3 miles and turn Left onto Morton Hill Rd. Take Morton Hill Rd. 3.1 miles to Russel Brook Rd and turn left. Proceed just over a half mile to the Russell Brook Rd. Parking Lot.

From the junction of Routes 206 and 30 (2.7 miles southeast of Downsville) take 206 south for 2.9 miles and turn right on Jug Tavern Rd. Take Jug Tavern Rd 1.6 miles and turn left onto Campbell Mt Rd. (T-intersection). Go one-third of a mile and turn left onto Morton Hill Rd. Take Morton Hill R. 2.7 miles and turn right on Russell Brook Rd. Proceed just over a half mile to the Russell Brook Rd. Parking Lot.
