Beginning at Harding Road this 7.5mile moderate-difficult, round-trip hike has great views and completes the 2.7 miles of the Harding Road Trail for the Catskill All Trails Challenge. Harding Road Trail is an old carriageway to the former Kaaterskill Hotel, originally built in 1881 by George Harding and was located on the summit of South Mountain. We’ll break for lunch at the viewpoint from Inspiration Point.

Level of Difficulty:  Moderate-Difficult

Bring: Lunch, snacks, plenty of water (2 liters), drink sunscreen, insect repellent, sturdy hiking boots, rain gear, extra layers, camera
