While Slide is the highest peak in the Catskills, at 4,184′ it is relatively one of the easier peaks to summit. The hike will be at a relaxed pace with no one left behind. Beginner peak baggers and seasoned leaf peepers welcome. Get ready for some Catskills magic!

Covid-19 Guidelines:  Due to the rise in delta variant cases locally and nationally we have revived these simple protocols for participation in our in-person events. Wear a mask while congregated in the parking lot or at other sites.  Follow social distancing protocols.  Use your own pen when signing in, or use hand sanitizer. Other guidelines may apply, depending on event. The event leader will inform participants.

Driving Directions:  From route 28 heading west turn left at route 47 in Big Indian, to Slide parking lot. You will pass the lot to Panther and Giant Ledge along the way.  At that hairpin turn continue to Slide.
