Hike Slide Mountain and enjoy mindful Yoga and Meditation at Summit | October 9, 2022

Hike is a wonderful loop allowing us to explore the diversity of Slide Mtn. on less traveled as well as commonly used trails. Stream crossings, great scrambles and diverse plant life will treat us as we ascend. Views on Slide are expansive and lovely. Slide Summit itself is a treat at 4190 feet and Catskills Highest! Some hiking and outdoor experience is needed on this hike. Yoga Novices are welcomed by this Yoga Master and outdoor teacher. Do Have lots of water and snacks. This is a full day event. Dress in layers and for Fall. Have appropriate footwear.

Additional Information: Hiking though difficult in spots will be at moderate pace and social. Yoga will be taught by experienced Yoga Master and outdoor teacher.

Driving Directions: Common access from north to NYS Thruway exit for Kingston. Go west on Route 28. A little west of Phoenicia Take Oliveria Road, Left ont Rte.47 south uphill past hairpin turn. Slide trailhead parking is on the left.
From Sullivan County access Frost Valley Road, Rte 47 from Round Pond or Claryville. You will pass Frost Valley YMCA Center. Trailhead is a few miles on right.
