SUMMARY:Crystal Lake Volunteer Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 13th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the beautiful Crystal Lake Wild Forest for a volunteer cleanup! This stunning recreation hotspot is not only a haven for wildlife but also a beloved spot for our community. Unfortunately\, it often gets a bit messy\, especially around the campsites. So\, let’s roll up our sleeves and make a difference together! This event is open to all ages and skill levels. \nEvent Duration: 1.3 miles\, 2 hours \nLevel of Difficulty:  Easy-Moderate \nLeader(s): Lenny Miret \nBring: Bring lunch/ snacks\, water/ drink\, gloves\, rain gear\, sturdy shoes\, trash grabbers. \nRegistration required by October 12.  Use registration form below to register. \nPLEASE contact the leader and cancel if you are not able to come as others may want to take your place. \nGroup size is limited to 20.  \nDogs allowed:   Yes\, leashed only. \nAdditional Information: Parking will be limited so volunteers are encouraged to carpool if able. \nQuestions about this event can be directed to lenny@catskillmountainkeeper.org or (845) 707-1753 \nDriving Directions: We will meet at the Crystal Lake Parking Lot. \nFrom State Route 17 heading west\, take Exit 92/ Roscoe\, turn left\, and go to the traffic light. Turn left at the traffic light and proceed  a quarter mile under the highway to the stop sign/ t-intersection. Turn right onto Sullivan County Highway 92 and go 8.7 miles to the entrance to Crystal Lake on the right. The parking area is in a short distance on the left. \nFrom State Route 17 heading east\, take Exit 92/ Roscoe. At the base of the exit ramp\, turn right and proceed to the stop sign. Turn right onto Sullivan County Highway 92 and go 8.7 miles to the entrance to Crystal Lake on the right.
