  We'll hike to the summit of Kaaterskill High Peak. Our route will include marked trails, unmarked trails, bushwhacking and interesting scrambles. We'll have lunch at Hurricane Ledge, with one of the best views in the Catskills; and we'll visit the sites of 2 plane crashes. Our pace will be moderate with frequent, short snack/water breaks.    Codfish Point with option of continuing to Echo Lake (from Platte Clove Mountain Road) A moderately easy hike on the Overlook Trail through the Platte Clove Preserve with Codfish Point as the destination. If continuing to Echo Lake it will be a longish hike of approximately a total of 8.00 miles round trip. Grades are easy with a descent of 455 ft to the Lake.
