Cycling on The Catskill Scenic Trail

Much of the trail is through the woods alongside the West Branch of the Delaware River. It also passes through farm fields which provide open vistas of the foothills of the western Catskills. The Catskill Scenic Trail lives up to its name, but it is uneven and can be muddy. You will want a hybrid or mountain bike for this ride.

Driving Directions: We will meet at the trailhead of the Catskill Scenic Trail which is just north of the village of Bloomville on Route 10. There are a few parking places at the trailhead and then more parking on the opposite side of Route 10 on a dirt road which some maps call Feed Store Road.
