We will start across and down the driveway from the DEC Offices in Stamford, NY. We will take a trail up Bald Mountain to the sight of the old ski lifts, where we will have a 270 degree view of the Catskills, one of the best views in the Catskills. The trails are shared for Horse Back Riding, Bicycling, Hiking and some old ski runs, some are very steep. After reaching the top we will walk down the other side and around Bald Mountain for additional views and back to the parking area.

Driving Directions:  We will park across the road and down a driveway from the DEC Offices, 65561 State Highway 10, Stamford, NY 12167, just east of Stamford on State Route 10. From Windham NY take NY Rt 23 West to State Rt 10 and turn right, 26 miles. From Margaretville NY take Rt 30 north to Rt 23 and turn west, 28 miles. From Onenota take Rt 23 east to Rt 10 and turn Left, 27 miles.
